Ubuntu Women Celebrating Mothers Day
Ubuntu women came together to celebrate Mother’s Day
Ubuntu women came together to celebrate Mother’s Day, recognising the strength, love, and resilience of mothers. The event created a safe and supportive space for women to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships, reducing isolation and strengthening community bonds.
The celebration highlighted the vital role mothers play within families and communities, while also promoting peer support and emotional wellbeing among participants.
For Ubuntu, this event reflected the true meaning of “I am because we are,” demonstrating the power of unity and connection. It particularly supported Black African mothers by providing a culturally safe environment where they feel valued, heard, and supported.
We are grateful to National Lottery players for making this work possible and enabling us to continue delivering impactful, community-led support.
